Summary in plain English: TinyCare Connect is a listing platform — like a community bulletin board. We connect people. We do not verify, endorse, or take responsibility for any information providers or parents post. You are responsible for doing your own research before choosing childcare for your child.
TinyCare Connect (tinycareconnect.ca) is a digital connection platform that allows childcare providers (day homes and daycare centers) to list their services and allows parents to discover and contact those providers. TinyCare Connect is not a childcare agency, staffing agency, or referral service.
We do not place children with providers. We do not employ, supervise, or direct any provider. We do not act as an intermediary in any childcare arrangement. All arrangements are made directly and independently between parents and providers.
All provider profile information on TinyCare Connect — including but not limited to: business name, location, pricing, capacity, operating hours, certifications, licenses, background check status, and any other details — is self-reported by the provider.
TinyCare Connect does not verify, confirm, or endorse any information posted by providers. We do not conduct background checks. We do not verify government licenses, ECE certifications, first aid certifications, or any other credential a provider may claim to hold. Badges displayed on provider profiles (e.g., "Background Check Completed," "Government Licensed") reflect what the provider has self-declared — not information independently confirmed by TinyCare Connect.
Using TinyCare Connect to discover a provider is no different from discovering that provider through a Facebook group, word of mouth, or a community flyer. The same level of personal due diligence is required.
Parents are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of any provider before entrusting them with the care of their child. TinyCare Connect strongly encourages parents to:
• Conduct in-person visits before committing to care arrangements
• Request and independently verify any certifications or licenses claimed by the provider
• Request and check references from other families
• Conduct their own criminal background check inquiries where appropriate
• Ask about specific policies (allergy management, emergency procedures, discipline, etc.) directly with the provider
Providers who create profiles on TinyCare Connect represent and warrant that all information in their profile is accurate, complete, and up to date. Providers agree not to make false claims about their credentials, qualifications, or certifications. TinyCare Connect reserves the right to remove any profile it deems to contain false or misleading information, though we make no guarantee of doing so.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TinyCare Connect, its owners, operators, and employees shall not be liable for any damages, harm, injury, or loss arising out of or in connection with: the use of the platform; any childcare arrangement made between a parent and provider through the platform; the accuracy or completeness of any provider profile; or any acts or omissions of any provider or parent.
TinyCare Connect is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied.
The presence of a provider on TinyCare Connect does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or approval by TinyCare Connect. We do not rank or rate providers based on quality. Any ordering of results on the platform is based on neutral criteria such as availability.
Provider addresses and detailed rate information are only visible to registered, signed-in users. TinyCare Connect does not sell user data to third parties. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our privacy practices.
TinyCare Connect reserves the right to update this disclaimer at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
